February Freezer Cooking

Howdy!  We hope your February has so far been filled with all things lovely, and beautiful, and most importantly, chocolatey!

February & Freezer Cooking

This month we are linking up our freezer-friendly recipes. 

February is Freezer Cooking Month and a Couple of Changes

We're still working on ways to be prepared in the kitchen, so freezer cooking is next on our list of recipe themes.  

In my book, there are 3 different ways to do freezer cooking depending on what works best for your family:

• cook meats in bulk and freeze in meal size portions
• cook entire dishes in advance and freeze to reheat later
• freeze entire dishes before cooking so they will be fresher

No matter how you do freezer cooking at your house, please share your favorite recipes with us.  Just be sure to let us know the instructions for thawing and reheating/cooking.  :-)

Last Week for Crockpot and Slow Cooker Recipes

We hope you've enjoyed this month of sharing crockpot recipes.  My family has tried some new recipes and I've enjoyed not having to spend as much time in the kitchen as a result!  What recipes have you decided to keep in your recipe box from this month's hop? 

In February our theme will be "freezer cooking".  Whether you have a dish that freezes well after being cooked or a dish that freezes well before being cooked, we'd love to have you join our hop each week in February.
