February is Freezer Cooking Month and a Couple of Changes

We're still working on ways to be prepared in the kitchen, so freezer cooking is next on our list of recipe themes.

In my book, there are 3 different ways to do freezer cooking depending on what works best for your family:
  • cook meats in bulk and freeze in meal size portions
  • cook entire dishes in advance and freeze to reheat later
  • freeze entire dishes before cooking so they will be fresher
No matter how you do freezer cooking at your house, please share your favorite recipes with us.  Just be sure to let us know the instructions for thawing and reheating/cooking.  :-)

Here is our fabulous image for February, with thanks to Ms. Do for doing the graphics. (If you need graphics for your site, we highly recommend contacting her!)  You can copy the image location to include it in your post if you like.  You can find the Freezer Cooking linky code here if you would like to add the linky to your site and gain some extra traffic.

New this month, we're asking that everyone link back to this website address in the post that you're linking up.  This will allow more people to find the hop and share recipes.  Also new, is a Dishing It Up Recipe Hop Facebook page.  We know that many of you spend a lot of time on FB, so we thought this might help you stay informed.

We hope everyone has a fabulous first week of February and finds lots of new freezable recipes to try!
